Amazing service, integrity and honor.

Via another supplier I purchased a variable speed GRUNDFOS pump from API Pumps. It went faulty very soon after the warranty and started communicating with API pumps in Durban directly, specifically with Richard Gatlish, via Whatsapp and other means to try and resolve. I even supp**** water tests done previously to assist in the claim that API was trying very hard to get resolved and replaced via GRUNDFOS as API pumps themselves believed that this should be a warranty. In the end GRUNDFOS held fast and did not honor the warranty. I went to pick up the old pump (I dismantle to split for recycling) and personally met with Richard and had a cuppa coffee to discuss and also thank him for trying so hard is resolving the warranty. What a surprise the next day when I received a call that API Pumps decided to honor the warranty themselves at their own cost and received delivered a brand new pump. API pumps believe in the service and product they stand for and even though their supplier did not assist they stood by the brand as well as their own brand. Well done API pumps, you are an honorable company and going forward you will have my continued support.
