Risk of ********** behaviour

I have had a terrible experience with this company with regards to the collection of an amount owed by myself to another third party:

So, an amount was owed to an entity, of which I was the person responsible for the account. The account was never sent to us, so the outstanding debt was handed over to Anthony R & A without us knowing of the amount outstanding, which is not the problem I have, obviously there was some kind of communication problem.

Now, suddenly we started getting SMS's from Anthony Richards & A that the outstanding amount must be paid to a certain FNB account number. Now my problem with this is that in the times we are living in, it is TOO risky to pay from an SMS request. So I called AR&A and asked for a statement and banking details, which till today they never sent. They called us again and sent us sms's threatening us that if we will not pay, they will black list us. I called back again and requested a statement with proof of banking details so that I can make the payment, if which they

1) didn't want to send the statement to me, being the person indicated as the person responsible for payment of the account; 2) told me that they will send it to the mail address they have on record, WHICH again they have not sent.

I even on the 29th of April spoke to the Team Leader at AR&S and after a LONG discussion she promised to have the statement and banking details sent to me. She even promised to call me 15 minutes before the time that the statement will be sent to inform me of the statement sent. Today, 30 April NEITHER the team leader gave me a call back NOR did we receive ANY email with ANY statement or banking details on any one of the two email address they have in posession,

So at the end of 29th of April, I decided to contact the third party directly, they sent me the statement instantly and I made payment of which proof of payment was provided.

Thus, the outstanding amount is paid to the CORRECT account of the third party under review and proof of payment was sent to their accounts department.

STILL, on the morning of 30 April AR&A sent us an sms indicating that they will take legal action as we did not pay as promised. Well AR&S, we HAVE paid and YOU are the people not adhering to your promise to send us a statement and proof of banking details,

I want to thus warn people out there to not act on SMSs sent from AR&A as there is clearly ********** activity happening here.
