Anthony Richards & Ass - A worthless enterprise!!

I received a call from AR and Ass informing me that I had an outstanding balance with a bank which was due and they were handling the collection.

All well and good....I was aware of it and was happy to pay.

However when I asked for a letter of verification to be emailed informing me that they were indeed acting officially on behalf the bank that's where things went pear shaped.

I was promised it would be emailed that afternoon

A week after after I get another call and the agent says to me I was supposed to call her back....and I said no the arrangement was that as soon as I received the letter of verification I would call.....I'd received no email from them.

I was then asked if I'd actually checked my email - to which I rep**** my email is open in front of me all day every day and I watch everything that goes in and out of my account and NOTHING was from AR and Ass.

The agent said she would go and make sure her manager mailed me.

A week later she called me back....same thing all over again. No email...no verification letter....nothing.

I was then informed I must start paying - to which I rep**** certainly not. I get a phone call from a complete stranger who tells me they're collecting for XYZ Bank and I must pay based on nothing except this strangers word??? Not a chance.....

All I'm asking for is some verification....as I told them all along I'm happy to pay. I just want to know that this isn't a ****.

I was promised again the letter would be emailed to me.

That was 3 weeks ago......and I still have NOTHING from them.

Looking at the awful reviews they get on here I have decided I am not paying them at all. If I can't get a simple letter of verification from them how am I ever going to get a letter of settlement?
