Bad service-waiting 2 months

I had a problem with my geyser on 13 April 2017. Left the next day on holiday for 2 weeks out of the country. I wrote an e-mail to the Body Corporate and the Caretaker alerting them to the fact as I could not do anything else. Closed the tap and put a bucket under the geyser. The Brokers insisted on me filling in a form, which did not say anything with regards to new information. They were not willing to fix the problem while I was away although my neighbor had a key to my unit.

Upon my return it was another long weekend with 1 May being a public holiday. But I was told they would send someone on 1 May. Again I had to follow up. It took another couple of days before the geyser was fixed. But the geyser is not in the roof and I built a box around it as it is mounted on the wall above the bath. With the water running out resultant damaged occurred with a brown rust mark into the bath, the door to the bathroom was damaged and the box have to be rebuild. Also the walls must be painted again due to the steam when they fixed the geyser.

It has been 2 months since the incident. Half of the box have been removed. The walls still have not been painted. Apparently this will be done this week. Then the box will be build next week and mounted. They are denying the damage to the bath saying it is old damage. Any fool can see where the marks came from and that is it new damage. Nobody so far has said anything about the door damage.

How long must one wait to be put in the same position as before. I am paying insurance only to be told this and that - excuses for not paying and taking forever to make any kind of decision.
