Run forest run - these guys , who are supposedly dealing in agricultural equipment and engines - contacted me after I placed an advert on Gumtree, Junkmail, OLX etc - I was looking to buy a certain type of component. They said they got the component - its discontinued, but 'new'. In fact they have 41x in stock. The picture they had on the website looked 'borrowed' from somewhere else, so I decided to investigate. I placed an advert on Facebook asking for anyone to earn a few rands, and found someone on-line and paid him to go and see if this company exists in Bloemfontein. The address given by Anne Distributors came up as false. The representative kept calling and sending me messages that they will deliver the next day (not even taking into account that I am about 1000km away) PROVIDED I make a small deposit today. I asked if I could send a relative to inspect the component but they came back with long stories of Covid etc and why it is not possible to inspect the vehicle. I asked to speak to Mrs Anne, no luck. Needless to say - they're either bad salesmen or simply ******.
