WORST ACCOMMODATION - DO NOT BOOK! Annalene se Self-Sorg Huis in Glenmore

Worst accommodation – DO NOT BOOK! What was planned to be a fun filled holiday turned out absolutely horrible. The owner of this establishment (Annalene se Self-Sorg Huis in Glenmore) was downright ******. - As soon as we arrived, she complained about the previous guests and kept mentioning that they were ‘Indian people’ seeing that we were Indian guests as well. - On the first night, 2 intruders entered the property through a broken gate on the side of the property. When we informed her, the first question was if they were ‘Indian’ people. Unknown people entered the property, what does colour matter? She refused to believe that the intruders where white. - The property itself was not as it was advertised. - The bathroom windows were broken, therefore could not be opened which left the bathrooms with an appalling odour. - - The fridge was not working. Most of the food taken for the trip was spoiled. - The kitchen cupboards were infested with ****roaches! - There was a mattress that was stuffed in a hole in the wall which was covered with lizard droppings! The owner lives on the property, she constantly complained and made the stay so miserable. We couldn’t play music, could not play in the pool as she doesn’t allow water spilling out of the pool. As accidents happen, a bowl was broken, however we managed to replace it with something similar. She deducted R1000 from our breakage fee (R2000) as she advised the bowl was expense and the one, we replaced it with was not enough. No receipts or proof was shown to us of the new bowl that she purchased. After we left, she constantly tortured us looking for faults to hold back the entire breakage fee amount. This place is deceiving in pictures. If you want to enjoy a holiday with your family, then DO NOT BOOK to stay here! Your entire stay will be miserable and a waste of time
