ANM Accountants

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with ANM Accountants. I have been waiting for my Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN for several days. The TCS request was submitted using ANM Accountants' email address and cellphone number as the contact details, meaning that I have been unable to receive the PIN directly. When I followed up telephonically, I was instructed to request the PIN via email to their general information address. I was then informed that nobody apparently has access to that email address. This has left me in the position of being unable to access an important tax document relating to my own business because the contact details on the SARS request were set to those of the accounting firm. I find this extremely concerning and, in my view, it is an unacceptable way to manage a client's tax affairs. I should not have to chase an accounting firm for access to my own business's tax compliance information because their own email address is being used as the registered contact but is apparently not accessible. I have now formally requested that the TCS PIN be provided and that the relevant contact details be corrected so that I can independently receive SARS communications going forward. I sincerely hope ANM Accountants addresses this matter urgently. At this stage, however, I cannot recommend their service based on my experience.
