South Africa's worst online shop: animalgear.co.za

The worst online business I have ever purchased from. I ordered and paid for two products on 18 October 2018. I never received tracking information despite my numerous attempts to trace my products, and then I'm told they cancelled my order 15 days later saying they have no stock of the one product (I ordered two) and will never ever stock that product again - despite it being available and 'in stock' on their website until the same day they call to tell me this. The exact same product is still available on multiple online sites in SA and the supplier is still in business... 1. I believe the staff and management acted in bad faith by not delivering two products I ordered and paid for; 2. I explained in my numerous phone calls to enquire about the status of delivery that I needed the product by a certain date (past the max 10 days it would have taken to deliver), but no one made any effort to assist. They kept promising they will call me "asap", and never did. 3. I have been **** to for 3 weeks. First I was told the product will take 5-10 days to deliver; then after 5 days I was told it would take 10 days; then I was told after the 10 days the product is damaged and then I was told my order has been under "management review" for the first week (yet when I called someone promised to get the product delivered asap before the 10 days). I believe "management" took their time to sit with my funds for three weeks and did not do the honourable thing to call me and tell me there is a delay in my delivery. It's not even a delay, it's a matter of dishonesty because I paid for something and never received it. 4. Yesterday I called to enquire when I will get the replacement order, I was promised, again, that I will receive tracking info on Thursday and the one product will be delivered on Monday. No one ever said anything about my other product which got cancelled by them as well, with no reason why and no option given to me whether I want it or not.

I have proof that animalgear.co.za does business in bad faith, therefore I would rate it 0 if I could.

The right thing to have done was to get the product from another supplier and send it to me.(I know for a fact there are other online companies stocking it and I will inform animalgear's supplier of the stories they tell customers, i.e. that the product arrived damaged at their warehouse from the supplier, and that the supplier apparently said they will never stock it again, despite them supplying to all other online sites.
