No delivery, no communication, stinking attitude

Ordered a product on 14 September, phoned before placing the order and was assured there was stock. After several weeks evebtually phoned to find out what was happening. No stock but will receive the following week - assured they will contact me to follow up. Another two weeks pass, no follow up, no one returns calls. Eventually after phoning again 3 months after paying for item, fight to receive money back with no additional compensation or a decent apology. More than a week later still no refund received and again zero communication from animal gear.
