Escapegear seat covers that have escaped

Wish I had checked them on hello Peter before spending money with them.

I had to get seat covers for a clients car. Had local JHB based options but chose to got with the escape gear seat covers from animal gear because after a phone call was told lead time was 2 weeks which was the same as JHB based company but felt they offered a better product. I had 3 and half weeks before I had to deliver the vehicle so plenty of wiggle room.

What a fool I was. After I place the order and paid in full I get an email saying it will be 3 weeks before my order is shipped. I was a little annoyed as this was not what I was told and was a little tighter timeline than what I wanted but would still work.

At the end of 3 weeks I still had not heard anything from Dan (my sales rep at Animal Gear) three no return phone calls later I get an email saying Dan is on leave and my covers were still at the manufacturer.

Now 4 weeks since paying still no feedback. Client has the vehicle with seat covers. A little embarrassing. I phone Dan who says he will call me shortly. No phone call but just an email saying the the covers will not be ready for at least another 2 weeks or possibly another 3 weeks. Not even the courtesy of a call back.

It a little Pathetic.

Would love to speak to a manager.
