Buyer Beware!

I have been shopping online for many years now. Because of this I have come to expect a certain level of service. I have rarely been disappointed and I have never been moved to write a bad review for any of these businesses, as there has always been some redeeming action from the side of the supplier to mitigate any hiccups that might ensue.

Animal gear is not even on the same page as where the bar was set.. Communication and feedback is spotty at best. They answer back on one email out of ten. They will not call you back anytime soon. They are non-committal and vague. They will not confirm an email conversation in writing.

I made the mistake of placing an order with Animal gear one evening. You can sadly not check stock with them at 22:00. Payment was made at the same time. A couple of days later they notified me that there is no stock available of my product and, making a long story short, I requested a refund. This was 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Numerous emails have gone unanswered. I did manage to get a hold of the sales person and after hounding him for a week and a half, I was promised that the refund is being processed. That was a week ago. Nothing has happened since. I believe that the state is more efficient.

Sadly, I did not read the reviews on Hellopeter before placing an order with this company. Not a mistake I will make again. Buyer Beware!! It's your choice to do business with them, but I would not. Never again.
