****MER ALERT!!! Animal Feeds Solutions

I was looking for feed grade barley and this company appeared on my Google search; they have a full on website and everything!! https://animalfeedsolution.co.za. I emailed them and they rep**** with a quote. I called and messaged the number provided on the website and they assured me that they had stock and insisted that their minimum order quantity was 1 ton. I then went to their address in Harties, as listed on Google, and it took me to a lodge. I tried calling them and they did not pick up their phones. I asked at the lodge if they knew this company and the lady at security told us that she had never heard of them and she has worked at her post for five years. We drove around and asked various shop owners and the response was the same; as far as they knew, there was no company or place in Harties that sold animal feed. We kept trying the number and still no one answered. Upon closer inspection of their website, we noticed all the content mentioned Kenya. So we figured we'd been duped and we left and drove back to home. The following day, they messaged back and I told them our ordeal from the previous day, they shrugged it off and said they had closed early but their warehouse is actually in Port Elizabeth and they sent me a physical address. They said they would send my order to their Harties depot once I made payment and they would send me the correct address. I asked my nephew who lives in PE to drive to the address and verify. He got there and called me to say that the area had no warehouses, only car repair garages. He called the guys and asked if they can come outside and meet him because he was at the address but could not see any warehouse. They then told him that they were not there at the moment and that they were at their office in town. He told them that surely there must be a guard or another staff member who could pop out and show him exactly where they are and show him the stock and they then proceeded to hang up. We concluded that they were ****mers just trying their luck. In hindsight, there were a lot of red flags, their copy-pasted Kenya based content ( which I see now they have changed) , their **** address, their insistence on full payment upfront even though I offered to pay from their Harties depot once my order arrived, their one single phone number which is a cell phone and their delivery leadtime of 24hrs and delivery charge which my nephew said costs less than bus fare (I'm sure after this review they will change all that) and I am so glad I did my due diligence.
