Worst Property Management

I am a transferring attorney and have had the unfortunate situation where I had to apply to this company for 3 HOA consents. Where the usual practice would be that you send the company an email with a power of attorney attached and request requirements and sort out the necessary paperwork in about a week, this company has decided to make it as difficult as possible to get anything done in less that 2 weeks. You have to go to a website, register, log in and then input all the details for the various parties and properties (in other words do all the work that they would be expected to do), then get various documents printed and signed, and submit all of that to the website. This would not necessarily be an issue, but the fee charged by them for issuing the consent then begs the question what are you paying for? If you are going to have the clients do the labour intensive part of the work then don't bill them for the privilege. Then one has to wait a week before figures are issued, make payment submit proof and then wait again. the process takes forever, there is no attempt at getting things done and it seems no concept of urgency. As one person confirmed when I called last week, I just need to wait. So while the online portal is in principle a great idea, the cost and time delay in firstly issuing figures and secondly issuing the certificate make it an extremely frustrating, irritating and costly process.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

The clearance portal was implemented to create a single, structured platform through which all required information and documentation can be securely submitted, reviewed, and tracked by both ANGOR and the transferring attorney. This approach is intended to reduce duplication, minimise errors, and ensure consistency across clearance applications, rather than relying on fragmented email correspondence and manual document handling.

Registration on the portal is a once-off requirement, after which future clearance requests only require login and submission of the standard documentation that is required for every transfer process.

It is important to note that the clearance fee is not solely linked to data capturing or document submission. A significant portion of the service relates to the accurate calculation of clearance figures, verification of payments received, and safeguarding the Scheme against potential financial shortfalls or incorrect releases.

We acknowledge your concerns regarding turnaround times and appreciate the feedback, which is continually reviewed as part of our efforts to improve efficiency while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
