Unprofessional Conduct: Managing Agent Withholds Owner Statements
We are extremely dissatisfied with the unprofessional conduct of Angor Property Specialists - Property Management, their handling of our scheme’s handover. On 11 July 2025, we were notified that their services would be terminated. The trustees were assured of a smooth and professional handover to the new managing agent. Despite having ample notice, Angor failed to provide the necessary financial data and supporting documents to the incoming agent in a timely manner. Mid-August 2025, the new managing agent formally requested the August closing data to prepare the month-end statements. This request was ignored. Historically, the utility statements were prepared the day after meter readings and uploaded online, yet for August no communication was sent to owners, nor was the new managing agent provided with the closing data. Instead, from 22 August 2025, owners who queried their statements were told to contact the new managing agent—even though the new agent had not received the required information to prepare those statements. To make matters worse, on the morning of 28 August 2025, all August statement data was deleted from Angor’s website, leaving the complex in the lurch just two days before month end. This lack of professionalism has caused unnecessary panic among owners and made it impossible for the new managing agent to perform their duties effectively. Yet, despite these failures, Angor had no issue deducting their management fee on 5 August 2025 without interruption. We expect a managing agent, particularly one of this size and reputation, to act with integrity and professionalism during a transition. Instead, this experience has shown complete disregard for the trustees, the new managing agent, and—most importantly—the owners who rely on accurate, timely statements to meet their financial obligations. We request that Hello Peter note this serious complaint and that Angor be held accountable for their conduct.
