We can completely understand how frustrated you must be at having been told that your payment is overdue when in fact, you made a payment into the account which you had linked to your beneficiaries.
We genuinely wish that we were able to assist you in arranging to have the Standard Bank payment transferred into your Body Corporate account with ABSA bank. Unfortunately, as you will appreciate, this payment was made out of your personal account, over which we have no control. The fact of the matter is that only the account holder who did the transaction is authorised to reverse a payment from one bank account, or have it reallocated to another to another bank.
The account into which you paid your levy was a Standard Bank account, opened and administered by your previous managing agents. We have absolutely no authority over this account at all and can therefore not reverse this payment.
When we took over the management of your complex, we opened an account with ABSA Bank in March 2015 and advised all owners that their levy payments must in future be paid into the account administered by ANGOR on behalf of your Body Corporate.
We appreciate that making a payment into the old account number was not intentional, but can only advise you that we are not able to rectify this situation on your behalf. We urge you to make the necessary arrangements to have the incorrect payment reversed. Thank you for the payment on 9 July 2016 into the Body Corporate's account. Unfortunately, we are unable to credit the late payment charges as the error was not on our part.
We assure you of our best intentions at all times.
