Objective review - Angor Property Specialists, Property Management

I have worked with Angor Property Specialists for around six years. This in my capacity as chairperson previously, and currently as a trustee of the Fortress **** body corporate. Please note the following in no order of importance. 1) Angor is not perfect. They do make mistakes, and it is a source of irritation for the trustees. However, their executive management is always willing and able to listen to concerns, and fix deficiencies. 2) One of the biggest mistakes the trustees of Fortress **** ever made, was to move from Angor to Urban Pace. Very quickly it became apparent that we made a major mistake, and we moved back to Angor. The lesson learnt was that trustees should not move away from a tried and tested partner such as Angor due to issues which in hindsight was nothing more than irritations. 3) One of the biggest risks complexes and estates face is where management agents mismanage their finances. With Angor, their systems and controls are beyond reproach, and their executive management have a clear and unequivocal understanding of their fiduciary duties and responsibilities. 4) Trustees and owners alike have electronic access to the financial records of the complex. Angor made major strides towards digitalizing financial records of the complexes under their control. Clear evidence of the successful implementation of the electronic access to the financial records of the complex is the simplicity where even people with minimal computer s****s (like myself) can very easily access these records. 5) In the bigger scheme of things, Angor offers the following:- a. Fiduciary responsibility beyond reproach. b. Systems and controls in a league of their own in the property management environment. c. Executive commitment – this is something that money cannot buy.
