No electricity billing transparency - Electricity bill has skyrocketed since ANGOR has started sending monthly electricity statements
There are no options to have prepaid electricity, they insist on sending an electricity usage bill monthly. You do not have sight of your own usage and since I started staying in one of their properties my electricity bill has inflated 3-fold.

26 Aug 2020, 16:14ANGOR bills electricity based on the meter readings. Should you feel that these readings are high for your usage, you may have an electrician test the meter and your appliances to determine if there is a fault. If a fault is detected within the unit, the cost of repair as well as the electrician’s fees are for the owner’s account. Should there be a fault with the meter, the meter could be replaced at the Scheme’s expense and the electrician’s fees would be covered by the Body Corporate.
The owner of a unit may have a prepaid submeter for electricity consumption installed within the unit to recover electricity costs from their tenant, but the owner would still be liable for the bill according to the meter readings. An individually installed prepaid meter (submeter) only assists a landlord in recovering electricity costs from their tenant so that they can pay the bill received from the Managing Agent. The prepaid meter will not reduce electricity consumption which is recorded by the electricity meter.
The installation of pre-paid meters for all units in a Body Corporate requires that a Special Resolution of owners be passed, before all owners may install pre-paid meters.
