From the frying pan into the fire

Our previous property management really mismanaged our account, bad enough that they just resigned. Our trustees had to sign on another property management fairly quickly and was referred to Angor, from Sept 2023. Well on the first bill, I had a water billing query and also they charge two months of water in one go instead of splitting up into two billings due to the scaling billing, I didn't pay that water bill, until it was sorted out. Queried with Janine on 05 Oct 2023. By 19 Feb 2024 I really haven't got any answers to my water billing query, even by asking Janine a few times on the status of the query. Out of the blue I received an arrears letter on that water query, which I was really livid about and approached the head trustee. Finally it was sorted out. Had other queries but no feedback, status or what's happening. One example, my tenants moved out and had requested to remove their numbers from the main gate dial pad and put my number on it. Was requested mid Jan 2024 and to date this still hasn't happened, I check the dial pad every so often and still see my old tenants on it.

I think we're small fry compared to other accounts that Angor looks after. I wonder what Angor will do to rectify my faith in Angor or should we rather chose another property management company who really cares???

We understand your frustration in dealing with information provided and calculations performed by the previous Managing Agent. Our Portfolio Manager engaged the assistance of the Scheme’s Chairman to properly understand your query and we were thereafter able to make the required amendments to your account. Our Portfolio Manager has not received any queries subsequent to February 2024 and we hope that your utility queries remain resolved.

Our Portfolio Manager did contact the intercom service provider to update the intercom details but mistakenly omitted to ensure the tenants' details were also removed. These have now been removed from the system and our Portfolio Manager has sent you confirmation of the removal. We apologise for the frustration that you have experienced to date and hope that your queries are now resolved in full.
