Angor Management or Anger Management?

I recently purchased a property in a sectional title complex of which Angor is the property management firm. I took transfer of the property towards the end of November soon after which, I emailed Angor to set up my account and to arrange to take over the levy and utility accounts. It is now more than 5 weeks since I original email. In this time, I received one auto-generated email response acknowledging receipt. After a few days of no further response I attempted to phone them. After several minutes of holding on a premium call number, I was eventually redirected to a voicemail service where I promptly left a message. A couple of days later on 11 December received a further email stating "Kindly note we are attending to your matter. Please note we are having a bit of a backlog and we will have attended to your matter by Wednesday, 17 December latest if not sooner." A week ago I attempted to register on their App and was advised I would receive an OTP for registration and verification purposes. Today is 7 January and I have received no further communication from anyone at Angor either for taking over the account for my unit or for App registration. I have attempted to call them a few times over the last few days, but calls continue to go unanswered after several minutes of holding and listening to awful music and a continuous loop of annoying messages telling how big and wonderful they are. I have now owned the property for 6 weeks and to date have not been contacted by anyone from the body corporate to assists me with gaining access to the gate system or to programme any additional gate remote controls I need. No doubt this is because they are not even aware that I have bought the property and that I am in the process of renovating it before I move in. As soon as I am settled in my new home and complex, at the next AGM I will be putting name forward for membership of the Body Corporate Committee and my first priority will be fire Angor and replace them with someone more competent.

Dear Gerald,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We acknowledge the frustration experienced during the transfer and onboarding process and sincerely apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused.

We recognise that communication regarding the process and status should have been clearer, and that the new levy account could have been opened sooner, we apologise for this oversight.

We confirm that the account has now been successfully registered, and we appreciate your patience while the matter was resolved. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
