never got a simple tourist visa I tried to apply

My partner and I wanted to visit an old friend in Angola and spend Xmas there. We collected all the required documentation as on the website. We have been living in South African for the last 5 years and are both temporary residents with valid work permits. We booked our tickets to Angola for the 20th of December until the 30th of December (10 days).<br> <br> We collected what we thought required documents according to the website that were obviously not enough but I will skip most of the saga to say: despite we obliged to provide any new document that the consulate secretary invented, we were finally refused the visa because my partner's work permit for South Africa expires at the end of March! They claim that one should have a valid work permit for SA for 6 months! I researched this but could find proof in any official document. Even if his permit expired tomorrow he could still come back to SA with tourist visa, I just dont get it what this has to to with tourist visa for Angola. Please msg me if anyone knows anything about visa laws in Angola. Moreover, the employee was extremely abusive, offensive and refused to give back my documents that were never processed anyway..
