Ridiculous Runaround
I met Andy Wayne Photography at the wedding expo of 2016 . Both Andy and his wife Laurie were and still are very nice people to get to know on a friendly basis however, they are both extremely unprofessional . After a gruesome 14 months of badgering and back and forth emails and sms' s( that were hardly responded to)... we finally received the items we had paid for . The runaround should have ended in February according to their service contract , however this continued for a good 10 months longer during which time I fell pregnant and unfairly endured heaps of stress trying to get Andy or his wife to respond so that we could get our outstanding items. I dont think its fair to place a client albeit a pregnant client under such stress or anxiety especially when it comes to items they have paid for and for which you are overdue on . To date , both photographers are unapologetic and completely complacent when it comes to their replies. Their customer service is atrocious. I contacted the director of the wedding expo and resorted to social media to uphold my rights as a consumer and to warn others to be weary . The wedding expo apologised and thanked me for bringing it to their attention . The woman I spoke to even mentioned that she could believe me when I said that emails and sms's don't get responded to as she has tried to get hold of them on several occasions and they do not reply on time . Laurie and Andy are however exceptionally good at deleting negative comments on their fb and Instagram pages as well as blocking clients who try every avenue to get them to reply ! Honestly this was the worst way to remember my wedding day ... especially when the 1st batch of albums came back and Andy had printed my parents (paid for) 300x400mm album as 2 albums of the size 200×200mm instead saying that he thought maybe I would want to give them separate albums. That was a nice save but if an invoice has been paid for, it is a service providers duty to provide what has been paid for ! The reprint arrived yesterday and the paper is of poor quality . I am assuming it is because Andy Wayne Photography had to pay for it with their own money owing to them messing up the initial print . This is extremely unprofessional and it upsets me that my husband and I had to **** a smile and friendly chit chat out of fear that we may never receive our albums. To anyone out there thinking about using Andy Wayne Photography and who doubt my review, please question why their initial reviews were all delivered in the same month with 2 days apart and all within the same year that they started operating and never again . Im assuming they got some friends to write a good review . Regardless... as a service provider, there is a certain level of professionalism expected and I find it shocking that 'professionals' abuse consumers owing to our lack of rights. I thank forums like these which give us a voice and enable us to save others from the same ordeal .
