Shocking service

<p>Andrew's upholsters were commissioned to make cushions for my yacht. They did not use the material specifically chosen (of which we have a sample) but instead used inferior quality material. To add insult to injury; when they delivered the cushions we found that the zips of the removable covers were incorrectly sewn on the front of two of the cushions, the material was not only the wrong colour but also definately not the fabric chosen. In addition to this, not only was the workmanship unprofessional and scruffy but they had not put the cording on the edge of the cushions which had been included in the quote. They took the two cushions with them promising to sort the zips out and when we phoned them the next day to discuss the colour and quality of the fabric used and the poor workmanship they promised to come and see us and once again assured us that they would sort the problem out. We have made numerous phone calls and visits to their premises, each time receiving promises that they would call on us the next day, but they never turn up. I was at their premises earlier this week and spoke to Melanie, who once again promised to call on me the next day. We are still waiting!! The shocking thing is: this has been going on since 22 September 2016! We put down a 50% deposit. I am appalled and their attitude and would certainly not recommend them to anyone. We either want our deposit back in which case they can come and take their cushions, or they can return the two missing cushions so that we can commission another upholster to make removable covers and we will accept this against the 50% deposit paid.</p>
