Disappointed and disgruntled

I gifted my partner with a pet photoshoot to the tune of R1250 for the shoot of his pets. I was requested to pay upfront In order to secure a booking

The shoot was done @ our house as the dogs are small. I asked Andre if we could choose the house as a venue and he agreed - only recommendation was the time as he advised the lighting impacted the picture quality. After the one hour photo shoot andre advised he was happy with the material he had taken Then the stories,be prepared for lots of stories and excuses, and even more back_tracking ....and again still no pics forthcoming We then were advised he wasn't actually happy with the pics he advised he was happy with prior! We then went to a rather disused property where Andre had a room he referred to as his studio 2nd shoot done and STILL NO PICS FORTHCOMING This was now over a period of a month and zero pics still to be seen After chasing and confronting him he accused my of being rude where he actually just advised him of the facts and history Bottom line we would not recommend him and further recommend you see the finished product before parting with your money He hides behind a myriad of excuses and simply does not deliver In my humble opinion he is out of his depth and takes the opportunity to take funds where the opportunity presents He quoted in 10-15 images and only produced 10 Of his preference when pushed - I asked him for The balance of 5 and he has ignored me. Asked that I pay R85 per image if I wanted additional images.

This experience was sad as it was meant to be a birthday gift ,so best to stay away and avoid any disappointment ! Knowing he wasn't going to refund the money taken ,we told him to keep the monies as he clearly needs it based on his modus operandi of upfront payment
