Andova tented camps suck

It was awful. The place looks nothing like the pictures, there is no buffet dinner/breakfast. The kitchen is disgusting and each night our food was served cold. We booked months in advance to ensure that we have 2 tents next to each other. When we came in hoedspruit we were told to pay cash because they dont have card facilities. When we got to their hoedspruit office, the office was closed. We ended up calling the owner 5 times before he got back to us. We had to wait about 30 min before he got there, then he still did not have the keys to his office. He did not give us a reciept for our last payment and then we demanded an email of confirmation so that we atleast know there is proof that we paid. We got to the lodge and found out we had to pay an additional R58 per person because it is seperate companies. Which we were not informed of. We did not carry any cash on us, and they did not have card facilities, so we refused to pay. When we got to the campsite. No one knew that we needed 2 tents next to each other, so our friends had to settle for a smaller tent, when they already paid for the double tent, we contacted the owner, and he did not get back to us. We got served cold dinner and breakfast both times. This place is poorly run, and there is no one in charge or no manager that we could complain to. The owner never returned our messages. Overall we enjoyed our time, because of the company we had, but we are very disappointed in the stay.
