Service Levels Beyond Unbelievably Atrocious

I have had the extremely unpleasant experience of having deal with Anderson Insurance Underwriters when it actually came for them to perform their contractual obligation regarding a claim.
I was involved in a motorcycle accident on December 11, 2015 that was clearly no fault of my own as could be seen on the video recording on my camera, which was submitted as part of the claim but still had an absurd R11000 accumulative excess on this claim that was only recently settled and the Loss Agreement worded in such a way as to de***** me.
Numerous requests were made for the wording to be amended to the satisfaction of both parties and the policy cancelled with immediate effect upon signature. Twice I had sent proof of registration/ownership during the claim since December but was asked to send it again for the claim to be processed. The strange part is that vehicle registration was not requested upon inception of this policy.
Receipt of the signed Loss Agreement and policy cancellation was confirmed via email from Anderson Insurance Underwriters mid July 2016.
At 7am yesterday morning, I received an SMS notification that Anderson Insurance Underwriters had collected the monthly premium associated with the policy. I emailed them immediately as the policy had been terminated more than a month ago and calling leads you to a voicemail giving their business hours from Mon-Fri.
This morning I received an email from the Policy Services department, " Good day, Trust you are well. Please note that polcy (sic) has been cancelled. In order for us to refund please provide us with a bank statement

Thank you

Kind Regards,..."

Does AIU not have records of monetary transactions in accounting department on their system or database!?!

These people want you to jump through rings of fire when they've wronged you and the problem needs correction or when you require assistance from them and they have you waiting on the phone listening to jingles for over 45min with voice prompts assuring you of their best service and putting clients at ease, and then having to deal with agents, their supervisors and people above them with a non-existent level of competency.

If you have AIU as your insurance underwriter, I STRONGLY urge you to reconsider and move elsewhere.
