Poor service and Empty promises

<p>I was inolved in a car accident in February 2016. I immediately called my insurance Anderson Insurance Underwriters for roadside assistance and towing as my car was not driveable. I was told that I was no longer insured with them as I had missed an instalment. I disputed that and submitted my bank statement which clearly showed that I had not missed any payments. They apologised and sent a tow truck to pick up the car. A few weeks later, I received communication from their lefal department informing me that my car would not be repaired as I had missed a payment. I was told to collect the car from the panelbeater and pay for the towing and storage thus far. I then called my lawyers from legalwise to assist me with the matter. After Anderson had been contacted by my lawyer, they sent me an sms saying my car would be assessed that same week. The car was then assessed and I was told that it has been written off. I then awaited further communication with a way forward. I only received further communication after my lawyer contacted them again, I was told that they would settle my outstanding debt at the bank within 72 hours. They organised me another dealerahip to assist me with replacing the car as I had a big shortfall. Up to today, my debt has not been settled. The said dealership has alredy organised a replacement car but can not go any further as Anderson Underwriters still have not paid their part of the settlement. In July, I received an sms stating that my contract with Anderson had been terminated. Today, 7 months after the accident, I am still paying for a car that was written off. I still do not have a replacement car and my debt has not been settled. All I have received from Anderson Insurance Underwriters are empty promises, a lot of inconvenience and the poorest service I have ever received from any company!!!</p>
