Amrod Refuses to sell products to business

I am a small business owner. Today I app**** to become a re-seller of Amrod products. My application was turned down due to what they referred to as missing paperwork, despite having filled out all of the paperwork required in the online application. We are a clothing brand that would like to launch a winter range and where hoping to purchase clothing directly from Amrod. We have not been trading long enough to have accumulated what they needed which was the following: - A scanned copy of our Business Cards - A list of previous jobs we have done - A series of PO's and invoices from the previous trades we have done

Now I am sure that they have their reasons for being so strenuous and perhaps the fact that we are still in the process of establishing ourselves as a trading company raises red flags for them. But the simple fact of the matter is that we have cash to spend on their products. We have cash to spend during one of the biggest recessions and economic crisis in South Africa's history. They not only rejected our application but then referred us to another company. Basically suggesting that our business is not worth their time.

We will not be dealing with them again and encourage other small businesses to do the same.
