AMROD DOES NOT CARE FOR SMALL COMPANIES
I attempted to place an order for branded items from Amrod on 22 November, but the items were suddenly out of stock with an ETA for the arrival of more stock on 24 November.
In order to avoid delays, I asked for the stock to be put onto back order. Amrod confirmed this with a Sales Order, which was paid in full immediately to secure the stock.
On 23 November the ETA was changed to 1 December; on 30 November the ETA was changed to 4 December; on 3 December the ETA was changed once more to 10 December. These were all automated e-mails with no explanation as to what was causing the delay.
When I queried the lack of communication and also the reason for the changing dates on 5 December, I received an apology from Hellen Niemand stating that they would provide better feedback. She asked their shipping department to provide a reason for the fact that the date kept changing. Some hours later a certain Moipone rep**** to give the strange report that "the vessel had berthed on 29 December and was unloaded on 2 December".
It is now four days since my last communication with these people and despite the promises, I have had no feedback once again. As clearly stated in my correspondence with them, I was supposed to deliver this order to my client today (3 weeks after placing it); however, I still don't even know whether Amrod has received the stock.
It certainly looks like Amrod only cares about large companies that place large orders. Smaller companies in the "Jade" tier are handled differently and are clearly not important enough to be kept in the loop.
