Amoretti Doors - dishonest rogue company

This dishonest company is a company nobody should deal with. I purchased a sliding system doors, dealt with Matthew from amoretti.

1. The specification on the doors were not the same as the doors installed 2. The doors were meant to seperate 2 rooms. But u could have a clear discussion in normal voice tone with the doors closed. 3. Numerous emails were sent asking them to rectify, they really annoying and just wanted to force final payment which we refused. 4. Eventually I had a sound specialist write a report which concurred with the view that the doors were wrongly specified, badly manufactured and did not serve any purpose.

5. Still these arrogant people refused to sort the doors. 6. Since this is a business and we needed to resolve, we opted to remove the doors and ask amoretti for a refund on the deposit. 7. They agreed, they collected the doors and NEVER refunded one cent.

We are now proceeding with legal action.

I warn others to stay clear of this company. They are problems. My architect has had problems with them. Another guy had problems where they installed semi solid but he had paid for solid. I now know of a few other people that were also done done by this pathetic company. Building or renovating is stressful enough, then u have dishonest people like this who u should not even come close to. The sad part is they think doing people down is the way to do business. Choose peace of mind by not dealing with rogues.
