I was in an accident on 23rd March 2021 and had my car towed back to my house as i don't have insurance and planned to take out a loan to fix my car. A week after the accident a tow truck driver from AMM Towing saw my car outside my house and rang the door bell. He told me he got a call from a witness who is stating that a the other driver involved in the accident was driving recklessly and I am therefore able to claim 3rd party from his insurance. He said he had to tow my car to AMM towing premises so that the insurance assesses can assess my car and have it fixed. After months of dealing with this guy "Hugo" asking him for more details, where is my car, is it been fixed, what is the policy number of the insurance so i can follow up with the claim he kept making excuses and telling me tomorrow he will give the details, but tomorrow comes and he says the same thing. He also borrowed money from me once and tried to a second time even though he didn't pay me back after the first time. Eventually I got concerned and called the company on 19 May from number listed on Google only to find out my car has been there the whole time and they don't deal with 3rd party claims. I could have had my car fixed by now myself! Now I am going to have to refuse to pay what ever fees they are going to expect from me as this is a huge ****. My two kids and I have been without a vehicle since March and Winter is near. I feel so used and really upset that some one could take advantage of an already bad situation.
