Amethyst Body Art - Worst experience

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!! My friend and I visited Amethyst on 15 Dec '21 for nose piercings. We picked the same smaller stone and were advised to take the bigger one in case of any swelling. To set the record straight, this was the first time both of us had had a nose piercing, so we were more than happy to take advice from someone who clearly was better informed. Luckily, we experienced very little swelling (if any). The problem I had was that the small rod inserted into the nose to hold the stud in place seems to be quite long and does cause me to bleed when it touches the sides. (I am on blood thinners). After calling and reminding them that we were due for a 'check up' at around this time, they made an appointment for us for Monday, 24th January, the main reason being that we were both quite fine and that we would be able to replace the studs with the smaller stones we originally wanted. We arrived and were rudely greeted by the gentleman who does the piercings.. He made it quite clear that he was in a hurry and basically fobbed us off with every question we asked him. He moved around us, not actually speaking to us but giving short abrupt answers, whilst he continued packing up his laptop and other belongings, and cleaning the tattoo and piercing room and bed. All this, after making a proper appointment for advice. What really annoyed us was his remark that if we were already bored with the 'big' stud, nothing would ever satisfy us. My friend asked how long it would take to heal properly in his opinion, and all of a sudden it became 8 months to a year, but that if we were sure ourselves that it had healed, we could change the stud. We again asked how we would know if it was completely healed, as we were not experiencing any swelling, and his verbatim response was: "Not to be rude, but its quite obvious once its healed". Neither one of us could believe how rude he was and how he treated us with sheer contempt! We will be going to another piercing professional to have our studs removed and replaced with the stones we originally wanted, but were happy to wait for. Worst after sales service ever!
