Whats the use of having an account?

I would just like to know what is the use of having an account with a credit limit of over R20 000 if you cant buy on account? You have to pay a 50% deposit!!!!!! then the other 50% gets put on your account. We bought my engagement ring from american swiss worth R25 000, we didnt have to pay a cent deposit, the whole amount was placed on our account. Now that i want to purchase the wedding band for R18 000 im told i have to pay 50% deposit, then they will deduct the 25% discount and the rest will be put on our account!!! How does this work?? I was told that the full amount will be put on my account, then that person went on leave and is still not back. How does this work??? Different strokes for different folks??????<br>
