Unhappy with purchase

We purchased a fossil watch for my daughter's birthday , it was Rose Gold, she has always only worn silver or white gold. But fell in love with this particular watch what a disappointment , after 2 weeks of wearing the watch the Rose gold started to rub off , we paid R3000 for the watch which may not appear to be a lot of money in some people's eyes but in mine it is a fair amount. She has had better wear out of her Honey watches I have purchased for 200 odd rand. We did go into Clearwater American Swiss and the manageress was very pleasant and said we should have been told the Rose gold would run off ,I wasn't advised of this and even if I was surely not after 2weeks? She offered to swap it for us , but my daughter is very sentimental and because it was a birthday present from us , she doesn't want to swap it . I definitely will think twice before purchasing from American Swiss.<br>
