Stock take in the middle of retail hours

I went to the Worcester store to pay my account. Was informed at the counter that they can't except payments due to stock take. That was 13:00. How can this happen during retail hours? Not even an apology. Terrible. Tomorrow they phone you for installment not made. Talking about my bad debt!!!! What the hell.
