Resizing taking forever

My fiancee bought my engagement ring on the 28th of February. He sent it in for resizing on the same day. He said that they should send the quote first before resizing. Yesterday on the 14th of March they sent the quote. So we waited 2 weeks just for the quotation of the ring. I told them to send it back as I don't want to wait another 2 weeks for my ring and pay half the price of the ring to have it resized when I can have it resized for more than half the price. And now they dont know when the ring will be back. I just want some answers as to when I can have my ring back. I have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a ring I still cant wear. I just want it back so I can get it fixed myself. I am not going to wait another 2 weeks for it
