Product Failure

I only recently learnt about hellopeter as a review platform for businesses. If I had known about it earlier I would've given a review on the above mentioned business much earlier instead of a year later without resolution for my problem and also unsatisfactory client care.

During late September, early October 2022 my husband and I had purchased our wedding bands for American Swiss Jewellers. My husband's wedding band fit perfectly, however mine needed to be enlarged. We paid for the enlargement of my wedding band, but were never informed that it could spoil the original make of the product.

On our wedding day, 26 November 2022, I started to experience irritation and discoloration on my ring finger, the wedding ring itself also started staining black. I immediately removed my wedding ring and noticed a green stain on my finger.

During the following week of our wedding I approached the store where the rings were purchased and informed the staff of my encounter. I also explained that both my engagement ring and wedding band are the same make however I have never encountered or experienced any of this with my engagement ring.

The staff at the store informed me that the ring will be sent in to get cleaned. I received the rings back January 2023, wore them for about a week and I encountered the exact same problems.

I have visited many other ASJ stores and no one is of help and I am always told that I will have to pay for a mistake that is not on my part.

I have not worn my rings since January 2023
