Lack of customer service at American Swiss ballito

American Swiss ballito staff lack customer service s****s

The staff working there have no customer care s****s. I have been sent from pillar to post regarding a refund that is due to me. It is going for two weeks now.

The first time I got there I was told that there was not enough cash to refund me. I was told to come back on another day. When I came back the second time I was told that there is a no cash again as there was load shedding no cash sales were made. I must come back another time.

Today I decided to call before I went to the shop. Guess what there was no cash. I asked the lady I spoke to how much was I supposed to be refunded, she said she cannot pick my details on the system when I gave her my ID number. She went on to tell me about some back office process of which I did not think it solved my problem and was not relevant to me.

When I challenged her and offered my insights into solving this problem she shift responsibility to the manager and said she was not there as I previously spoke to her only her can be able to assist me. I asked how is that my problem as she is in a customer service role she is there to assist however she can and solve customer related problems(Bare in mind that through out this engagement she was rude and did not offer me and opportunity to make a point, she spoke over me when I tried to make a point).This resulted in me raising my voice to get my points across as well. It came to a point where I felt it was best for me to cut the call.

It is very perplexing why it would be such a mission to refund a customer when he has all the required documents to prove that they made a transaction.

Staff in customer service roles are there to solve customer related problems not to be rude to customers and make them feel small. They are there to serve, it makes you wonder how some people in customer service role came to occupy such roles where there have no understanding of the mission they have to fulfill on their respective roles.

American Swiss being such a large organization a sure there is another way that this issue can be resolve if the Ballito branch does not have cash to refund me. You have a branch in Stanger,Durban,Gateway,solve a customer problem!
