Free gift promotiob

<p>I purchased a gift for my boyfriend from American Swiss. Afterwards I went onto American Swiss's website and came across a promotion stating that when you purchase jewelery to the value of R499 or more you will receive a free set of heart earings. I never received this gift and I was also not advised at the shop about the promotion or told that it is out of stock..Why should one ask for a free gift if was advertised? Will a customer only receive the free gift if they ask for it? I think it is very bad customer service</p>
