Expensive watch discoloring

Bought a watch for R1200. Losing color on the metal parts and American Swiss is very reluctant to do anything about it. Told me I could add a leather strap at my own expense. The watch is not even 2 months old. I asked if I could trade it for something else on their store, they don't want to. No assistance from their online platforms aka Facebook page. Will not recommend spending your money here as they sell low quality items at sky high prices. You suck American Swiss ????????
