Deceived and **** to

The branch in Menlyn are completely ***********, I was there on Saturday to look at engagement rings, My girlfriend spotted a set in the rose gold section and loved it so to make sure she would be surprised when she walked away to see another display I snuck a photo of the ring and price. Monday morning (today) I phone the branch and speak to an employee called Olga, she confirms the ring and the price and even sends me a clear picture of the set with the displayed price. I agree and we arrange for the set to be sent to east rand mall so I can collect it and check for sizing and adjustments if need be. a little while later Olga phones to say the lady who cleans the display had mixed up the prices and the actual price is nearly double. I then contact the manager to say its not my fault and we had agreed on the price. to be told that because the ring wasn't shown to me in person then they cannot be held responsible for the price...... Needless to say I will make sure non of my friends or family will be **** to or deceived by American Swiss and I will never shop there again.
