Custom Made Engagement Ring

<p>My fiancé custom made an engagement ring for me on 2014/12/06 at the Bethlehem branch. From what I understand is that the specific store doesn't make the rings, they send it to Bloemfontein to be made.<br />He paid R15999.00 for the ring. It is a silver ring with 3 stones. 2 Sapphires and 1 diamond in the centre.<br />I had the ring assessed with 2 different jewellers because after 1 year the one sapphire came loose. They gave me different valuations on the ring. <br />1. R8900.00<br />2. R3650.00<br /> <br />How is it possible that my fiancé paid R15999 for a ring that is valued at a different store @ R8900?</p> <p> </p> <p>On their website you can "design" a ring and see what the cost would be (approximatley) ..... and it showed for this ring ...... R3 999<br /> <br />I am extremely upset with this ring. The "diamond" is dull <br />The consultants at American Swiss in Bethlehem advised my fiancé to make the ring from silver and not white gold.<br />Barely a year later the 1 sapphire came loose (luckily I still have it)</p> <p>I sent a query to them on their website on the 22nd of June 2016, but with no reply.
