Complaint about re-sizing of rings

Very disappointed and frustrated. My fiancé and I bought wedding rings in December last year at American Swiss Pavillion in Durban. We bought on lay-bye over 6 months and we finished paying in June 2018 and collected our rings. When we bought we were told the rings would be re-sized close to the wedding date which is in August. We collected our rings in June and were told we could take it to any American Swiss for resize close to where we stay. Today (now 2 weeks before the wedding) we took the rings for re-sizing in Joburg Mall of Africa and we were told my Finance's ring can be re-sized but mine can't because it's too big. It's a size P and need to be re-sized to a size K. I was told if it's ri-sized the diamonds on the side would fall off over time and hence advised to chose another ring. I cannot chose another ring, I bought a wedding ring I loved and to be told 2 weeks before the wedding that it can't be resized is depressing to say the least. Mall of Africa called Pavillion as I was livid to say the least. The store manager at Pavillion promised to try assist and will call me on Monday. What I hate most is that when I bought the ring the sales person had not explained that the ring would not be able to be resized by more than 3 sizes down as it was explained to me today. I'm still waiting for the Pavillion manager to call me on Monday and give me a way forward. This is my wedding and I cannot have it ruined by people who do not know their job like the sales person at Pavillion who made me buy a big ring promised it would be resized only to find it it can't be done. I mean what am I expected to do 2 weeks before my wedding. I'm in tears right now as I'm writing this. I don't know what will happen.
