Bad service

My friend bought a watch for me on my birthday 22/11/2018 and she gave me a gift receipt, on the receipt it says " all minx watches are guaranteed against factory defect for one year" so today I want to ASJ Hemmingways to return the watch bcuz i can no longer wear it bcyz of the defect so Chantelle (store manager) told me in order for them to assist me I will need an original receipt then they might be able to Assist me and they warranty on the watches it's only on the machenizim, I was do shocked cuz it's written in black and White on my gidt receipt the guarantee against defects is one year, so I tried contacting their Area Manager by the name of Micheal told him about my stirs he wasn't interested he just told me he will have to look at the watch when he gets to EL he didn't even bother to take my name & contact details to do a gollfo up.
