BAD QUALITY

We bought an engagement ring with a wedding band on the 07/07/2018 cash. The price was R9999- but it was on a sale for R7499- In October we saw one of the diamonds fell out, I phoned around to get a new ring, it was disappointing that the American Swiss (PAROW) could not assist as they said they do not make that ring anymore. I could chose any other ring for the same value - A few days later I walked into the American Swiss in Swellendam as this is the closest to our home to hear if they can maybe assist. They could assist me right away and order the same ring for a other branch that had the stock. It was not even a week, and i received my new ring. Was really very happy with American Swiss Swellendam. About a month ago it seemed like it was loosing the round shape to very oval and getting a bit of a yellow color at the back. You can not see anything when the ring is on your finger but, when we took it off for cleaning we could see. It looked TERRIBLE!!!! I took the ring back to Swellendam American Swiss - and they said they will send the ring way and give me feedback. At this stage i had spoken to a few people also not happy with the quality of the rings at American Swiss. We had decided to take our money back and to spend it elsewhere. I received a phone call today from Swellendam American Swiss: They say that the ring is back for collection. Apparently there is nothing wrong with the ring and that this happens when lifting heavy stuff. NOW I ASK............. I work in a office from Monday-Friday, The heaviest thing i pick up is the stapler! I had to work like a man lifting all sorts of heavy stuff to get the ring like that in 4 MONTHS . My Fiance has a ring on from a ring shop from Worcester, has been on his finger for nearly 11 years - it cant even come off anymore - and that is still as round as new! He lifts heavy stuff all the time. I want my money back and that is that.
