Bad Jewelry Sale ☹️

My Husband purchase a ring from American Swiss Northgate on the 8th August 2019. I returned the ring to take a twinset of the same value. When they agreed to change it for the twinset and we were told it was a diamond ring from their classic collection and that it was a black diamond on special. My husband stated to the assistant that he wants it and is willing to pay extra cost if any is required. We purchased it and left. On the 10th of August as I took of the ring i notice that it looked bent and was hurting me. On looking closely I notice it was broken. I went to the Cresta branch and showed the assistant what had happened to the ring and was said that they could not help me if I need it repaired I need to pay for it. I took this further by logging a call to customer services American Swiss. I was assisted by an agent that took down my complaint and advised me that I will receive a call from his team leader in a few days. Nothing happened so I did the same again and again 6 calls after that I contacted the Cresta Branch Spoke to Faith the manager I sent her photographs of the ring proof of purchase. To no avail I went to meet Faith with ring in hand she took it promising they will investigate and advise. Faith also stated that it did not look like a black diamond and if it was they should have given us a certificate stating such. Two months going R3000 Rand spent I today received an email From Pravashnee Govender American Swiss Area Manager telling me that after investigation they have come to the conclusion that nothing is going to be done for us as it is not a factory fault and that I will receive my ring back unrepaired and not refundable. I am most disappointed as my we had to save to make this purchase and now I'm going to be sitting with a R3000 **** black diamond /silver ring which is broken and not worth my purchase. Sales staff need to be honest to customer they must give customers what they want not **** stuff especially if the purchaser doesn't know a diamond form a **** and platinum from silver.. Shame on you American Swiss for the bad service you provide. Hope purchasers are more aware of your bad service. Never will I buy from that Jewelry Store.
