American swiss the grove very bad after sales service and declining quality of products. Good day, i bought my girlfriend a engagement ring from American swiss in december 2022 and got engaged in january, by july 2023 the stones started falling off the ring and i called them to ask what my options are and they said sorry it only has a 6 month guarantee, this was already very surprising to me. I was just over the guarentee period conveniently when the stones started falling off, i was very upset although it was not a very expensive ring i bought it at a very respected establishment and surely it would last, i put them on hellopeter and they said come and exchange the ring, no need for the slip they have me on the system. I know this because i gave them my ID when I bought the ring and they put me on their database, i was excited and after a while when we had the time we went to the branch, (note i live 30 kms from this branch) just to find out they are under new management, nobody talked to us and that we cant exchange the ring without the slip that i threw away because i dont need it. (i am on the system). i was able to show them the transaction on my bank statements but they needed the slip. I wanted to speak to the manager but there was no manager or any senior whatsoever on duty that day. They also mentioned that my only option is to book in the ring and they can fix it but i will have to pay for it. This worries me that a well respected establishment that i trusted can only give a guarantee on a item for 6 months that lasts for 7. I am upset.
