American swiss diamonds are not safe to purchase

In 2021 my husband and I went to American Swiss to purchase our wedding bands..

When we entered my husband already knew what he wanted to purchase.. as we stood infront of the diamond counter the consultant at the time came to us and asked us if she could show us their wed band specials and escorted us to the non diamond section..

My Husband looked at me and said. " baby..this is not what I want, why did she bring us here if she ddnt even escort us to another diamond counter with specials, because that's where I was standing" I said.. " baby.. ay man I don't know"

We then went back to the diamond counter to look for what my husband initially had in mind for me..

We then purchased a 67 diamond band of which we paid cash for as we ddnt want any marital debt. ( my husband has an account he could've bought it on credit )

We ddnt read into what incurred whilst being there. We just mildly discussed it amongst ourselves with regards to what the consultant might have thought when we walked into the store. It was slightly disturbing to be very honest..

After purchasing the bands we were explained that the bands comes with certificates for insurance purposes etc since its a huge amount of money spent on Wed bands. Also that I have a free Wed band cleaning service with my purchase.

Today I've found that my main diamond was missing..ka****, gone, out of my ring..

The ring never left my finger.. I was never told that the chances of losing my diamond is big so I need to be careful In Making a choice of purchasing diamonds.. and this is exactly my dispute..

We went to the store and we were told that the guarantee was for 6 months and the words unfortunately got to me.. these words made me feel like my money and my loss means absolutely nothing to American swiss.. paying that huge some of money and all they have to say is unfortunately that is the policy.. How about .. was it not explained that your diamond might fall out of your ring are u You certain this is what you want ? Or at least something to give me the opportunity to make a choice of whether I want to take the risk of losing my money and my diamonds.

Because now this shows that your hard earned money is not valued nor is it safe with American swiss.. it's like purchasing at the R5 store with a no return sign just in this case no sign of no return .. just a manipulation with No choice given..

Furthermore.. how does something so valuable and expensive has a 6 months gaurentee.. this is not a flat iron.. or a got brush.. or a couch .. when you purchase something so sentimental you would think it should last a lifetime hence the choice of Wed band.. How is this place a good place to spend your money if they blind fold you and rip you off with a 6 month gaurentee on a huge buy and no explanation whatsover that there are possibilities that you might lose your diamond..

Because I can gaurentee you 💯 I would not have said yes to those diamond bands had I known there could've been a possibility that I might lose it by it falling out!!

This is unacceptable, I feel ******!
