My aunt went to American Swiss and this is her account of what transpired with her.

- As a first time shopper at American Swiss jewellery store I was very disappointed with the quality of the ***** and the stem that was used for a pierced earring I purchased.

Realising it would easily come out when I wore a "dook"/ headscarf and (also whilst putting it back in the velvet casing the stem was bending ,)I took it back to the store within 24 hrs. A pleasant caring staff heard my grievance and asked me to return on a monday when the store manager was available.

The manager unceremoniously advised that earrings could not be returned as a store policy ,and I was later told by the area manager that they could ask their workshop to quote me for the upgrade of their workmanship.

This is just to advise customers to be wary of these factors before purchasing from this jewelley chain store.

I am stranded with a set of earrings I cannot use.

The company takes verbal complaints ,so one is never sure if the compliant has been correctly conveyed.
