No replies from American Discount Cruises & Travel booking reference number *** while trying to resolve a query related to cancellation due to my mother being criticall ill

<p>I had to cancel my cruise due to the fact that my mother wascritically ill. I supp**** a doctors note. Th ecruise companycancelled the trip and refunded me a portion of my taxes saying tha tthey have a high cancellation fees. I responded back with this mail dated 26 may which followed a previos request on</p> <p>Hi I have not had a reply to this email. I did receive a deposit in may account of R1627 which is just over $100</p> <p> </p> <p>The taxes were $261 . Please explain :::</p> <p> </p> <p>I also requested you to show some compassion as this was cancelled due to the critical condition of my mother. I am attaching a note from her specialist physician.</p> <p> </p> <p>I did not even receive a reply. I would like to get a manger to contact me so I can explain my predicament.</p> <p> </p> <p>I also booked a follow up 4 day cruise with Carnival. The rep**** with a sympathy letter, refunded all my taxes and gave me a contact email to the cruise line .</p> <p> </p> <p>I contacted Carnival cruise and they responded favourably and sent ne a voucher for a future cruise.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please can you apply your minds to this request.</p> <p> </p> <p>I showed them the response i got from Vacations to go , who not only showed sympathy and care, they returned tie full dpodit , gave me a contct at the cruise liner and together got a voucher for the full trip.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am sure you can see the difference in standards between the 2 companies</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
