Ambledown Curatorship
Ambledown not paying claims due to curatorship. If you are like me and have been ignored with no communication on why our claims haven’t been paid out.. I have the answer…curatorship. They cannot even tell me when or if my claim will be paid out. No use paying a premium in this business climate, I suggest you do the same.

Thank you for your review , it is however factually incorrect.
Ambledown is not under curatorship. Ambledown performs administrative functions like claims on behalf of various insurance companies including Constantia Insurance Company Limited.
It is only Constantia Insurance Company Limited that has been placed under provisional curatorship. The Curator was appointed by the Insurance Regulator to protect the interests of all policyholders and preserve Constantia Insurance Company Limited’s business.
We urge you to keep your policy active to enjoy consistent cover. Ambledown has sourced a new insurer (Guardrisk) at very short notice and this facility will be made available shortly. We urge all policyholders not to panic and go to other insurers as additional underwriting conditions may be imposed on your cover. Guardrisk have agreed to take your policy over on the same terms. We will advise you further once all statutory requirements have been met.
Please keep an eye on your emails for further communication on the progress of your claim and new underwriter.
